Dog Walking

Dog walking is a favorite activity for me. I enjoy the curiosity dogs have on the trail and how they enjoy exploring, moving and having fun with people. I will take up to 2 dogs for walks if they are buddies and get along with other dogs we may encounter. Active paced walks and slower, sniffy walks can both be fun and geared to your dogs need. I can walk your dog in your neighborhood or take them to favorite nearby trails such as Arroyo Hondo, Dinosaur Trail, Wellness Way & Arroyo Chamiso Trail, Los Soleras Park, Swan Park, and the trails around Rancho Viejo. Other neighborhoods have fun trails too. The Las Soleras Park, off of Rail Runner Rd, has a small dog park for some off leash romping. If you live in the Cielo Apartment Complex the dog park there is available too. I’m prepared with water, first aid and poop bags to keep our walks comfortable and clean. I can send pictures and updates by text so you know what your pet and I are up to.

For Cielo Apartment Complex Residences Only

15-20 minute short walk in the middle of the day, or on days where you work late are available. These start at $20.00 for 15-20 minutes, If you schedule 5, 15-20 minute walks, in a week the cost is $15.00 each, $75 a week! $5 for an additional dog when your dogs walk together. We can also come by and feed your dog if you are working late with a short walk after. A Meet & Greet with your dog and household should be scheduled before these impromptu visits start.

Dog and Cat Care

I have years of experience in caring for dogs and cats for daily walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting in the owners home. Check out my testimonials. I have a certification in Pet First Aid and Pet CPR from the American Red Cross. I have administered medication orally, topically, subcutaneous & intramuscular injections, on dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, and large animals. I have knowledge of bandaging techniques often used while animals are recovering from injury. I have performed first aid in emergency situations.

Cat Drop-in Care

I have lived with, cared for and loved many cats my entire life. Helping them live a clean, healthy, happy life is important to me. Each one has a unique character and some have special needs. I have cared for special needs and aged cats, administered medications and performed first aid in emergency situations. Spending time with a caring human while their family is away can help them be happier as they pass the time until you return. Keeping them well fed, watered, up on their medications if need be and with a clean litter box is my priority.

Dog & Cat Sitting in your home

I have watched many dogs and cats in clients homes over the years. I keep a light schedule while pet sitting so I can be a true companion for your pet while you are away. I have been a private cook and housecleaner for many clients so I know how to be in your home and take care of it while watching your pet. I will ask that you fill out an in-take questionnaire specifically for House and Pet Sitting so I have all of your emergency information available, along with your pet’s information. 

Drop-in Visits for Other Animals

I have lived with and cared for a menagerie of animals as I raised a family. Hamsters, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, parakeets, salt and fresh water fish, tortoise and lizards are familiar to me. As are horses, goats, llamas, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese!

How about Drop-in Visits for pets like hamsters, reptiles, tortoises, birds or fish. Feeding, watering and keeping your pets housing clean can alleviate any worry while you are away. Specific instructions for your pet are required. Large animal care will be considered on an individual basis according to user friendly care set up.
